Pray with Us
Inspired by the Redemptive Charism of St. John DeMatha.
Who in your inscrutable providence will that the Church be united to the sufferings of your son, grant, we pray, to your faithful who suffer for your name’s sake a spirit of patience and charity, that they may be found true and faithful witnesses to the promises you have made.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one god, for ever and ever. Amen.
source of unfailing help, thy compassionate heart knows a remedy for every affliction and misery we encounter in life. Help me with your prayers and intercession to find a remedy for my problems and needs, especially for… (indicate your special intentions here).
On my part, O loving mother, I pledge myself to a more intensely Christian lifestyle, to a more careful observance of the laws of God, to be more conscientious in fulfilling the obligations of my state in life, and to strive to be a source of healing in this broken world of ours.
Dear Lady of Good Remedy, be ever present to me, and through my intercession, may I enjoy health of body and peace of mind, and grow stronger in the faith and in the love of your son, Jesus. Amen.
St. Michael of the Saints Trinitarian Mystic and Cancer Patron
You who gave us Saint Michael of the saints as trusted friend and intercessor, and as patron of those afflicted with cancer, look with kindness on your servants who this day invoke his name.
Through his intercession, comfort those in distress, confirm those in doubt. Satisfy their spiritual needs from the treasury of your grace.
Remember all those who call on your help, but be especially solicitous of (mention name).
Restore health to this person and to all who are sick. Sanctify those who endure pain with Christlike acceptance and grant to all of us a just reward in the life of glory to come.
In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
The feast of St. Micheal of the saints is celebrated on June 8th.
