Education Ministry

Inspired by the Redemptive Charism of St. John DeMatha.

The education system in Assam is very poor. The negligence of the government schools creates an uneducated society. Though there are many government schools for names’ sake, a few of them function properly.

Studies and surveys conducted show alarming drop-out rates in the state of Assam. Deprived of education, the backward community is kept under inhumane and unjust situations, and thus deprived of development and privileges. The future of the community seems to be grim where necessary education is not provided. Therefore, most people depend on mission schools for quality education. Helping the children grow intellectually, psychologically and spiritually is our primary goal.
